ReCircle Secures Bridge Funding for Expansion

Clean-tech startup ReCircle has secured an undisclosed amount in a bridge funding round led by Venture Catalysts and Mumbai Angels. This funding will allow ReCircle to provide high-quality recycled and traceable plastics, creating a new revenue stream aimed at achieving a revenue target of Rs 100 crore in the financial year 2025-26.

CEO & Co-Founder Rahul Nainani stated that the funds will help ReCircle gain control over the entire supply chain, ensuring traceability and benefiting downstream partners. The company also plans to launch its own recycling unit soon. Founded in 2016, ReCircle focuses on addressing India’s waste problem, operating an advanced material recovery facility in Mumbai and collaborating with 45 processing partners and 400 collection partners across 270 cities. To date, ReCircle has diverted over 169,000 MT of waste from landfills and water bodies.
